Electronic calculations

Current is the flow of electric charge through a material. Tension is the difference in electric potential between two points.

Resistance is the tendency of a body to oppose the passage of an electric current. Power is the phase angle between voltage and current. Impedance is the opposition of a circuit to the passage of an alternating electric current.

Parameter

Voltage: Difference in electric potential between two points.

Current: Flow of electric charge through a material.

Active power: Active, or real, power is that which is actually consumed by a load.

Reactive power: Power that alternately flows in the reactance without being transformed into other forms of energy.

Apparent power: It can be considered as the maximum active power value that we would obtain by canceling the phase shift between voltage and current.

Power factor: Cos φ (φ = phase angle between voltage and current).
Value between 0 and 1.

Resistance: Tendency of a body to oppose the passage of an electric current.

Impedance: The opposition of a circuit to the passage of an alternating electric current.
